World Heritage Site Verla is a unique monument. The old board mill milieu is located in northern Kymenlaakso by the Verlankoski stream, about 30 kilometres from the town of Kouvola. Verla has been serving as a mill museum since 1972 and it was included on the UNESCO world heritage list in 1996. 

In 2014 the museum is open from May 2nd to September 30th, Tuesday to Sunday between 10AM - 5PM. Between Midsummer and July 31st we are also open on Mondays. On Midsummer's Eve and Midsummer's Day the museum is closed.

You may visit the museum on guided tours only. During the season the guided tours in Finnish begin on the hour, the last one at 5PM. Other language tours on request. There may be changes to the schedule on certain occasions, such as special events.
