Stepping through the double doors of the main entrance, you enter a space where your eyes are naturally drawn upward and the grand proportions of this historic house can be felt instantly. A sturdy log beam and beautiful, antique stair railings dominate the view. The house quietly invites you deeper inside to make yourself at home.
From the lobby, pathways open up to the heart of the house. Access to the Kullervo room, the kitchen, and the central lounge makes this space a natural hub where arriving transitions seamlessly into staying. The rush of everyday life is also left here quite literally as shoes are always removed in the downstairs lobby. And with that, the atmosphere shifts: from outside to inside, from haste to tranquility. The house’s shared restroom can also be found in the ground floor lobby.
