The kitchen at VB1 is built for modern needs: a fully modernized space where brewing coffee and cooking meals is completely effortless. The kitchen is excellently equipped with all the essential appliances and utensils to prepare and serve meals for up to 12 guests.
Reminders of the past include the old wood stove and baking oven, which remain in place to tell their stories, though they are no longer in use. Here, you experience exactly what has always been essential to the Ilmonen home: practical daily life and rich history sharing the same room, wrapped in a warm and functional space.

Shared Space: The kitchen is shared among all guests staying in the house, offering a wonderful opportunity to mingle and meet new people.
Outside Guests: Bringing friends or visitors who are not registered guests at VB1 into the shared spaces is strictly forbidden, unless the entire house has been booked for private use.
Accidents Happen: We understand that mishaps occur. Please report any breakages or damages without delay.
Room Restrictions: Kitchenware and tableware must not be taken into the guest rooms.
Cutlery & Equipment: No equipment or cutlery may leave the premises under any circumstances—not even by accident, and not even just a little bit. Because our vintage Sorsakoski cutlery is highly irreplaceable, any missing items will always be reported to the authorities if they are not returned after a friendly reminder.
